Leading a church is a team effort! Bloomington Church of Christ is excited to welcome Minister and Women’s Ministry Leader Damon and Ivy Brog, hailing from Fox Valley Church of Christ in Wisconsin, to lead our flock beginning July 2024. The church is very thankful to former Minister and Women’s Ministry Leader Nick and Dee Neargarder for faithfully leading the congregation before retiring in March 2024.
We also have a team of leaders that work together with the ministry staff to make sure that needs are met and then everyone is growing and thriving spiritually. A diverse team of men and women make up family group leaders, house church leaders, the Board of Directors, and the Spiritual Leadership Team.
In the spirit of 1 Corinthians 12, we believe that everyone has an important role to play in the body of Christ. Just take a look around on Sundays, and you’ll see people on the worship team, the ushering and greeters team, the children’s ministry team, prayer teams, and many more operating as servants of Christ. Together, we are honored to serve the Bloomington/Normal community and surrounding areas.
